As design partner and co-founder of Made for the World, Lucy creates considered, intentional digital experiences that help purpose-driven organisations show up credibly, earn trust, and move people from interest to action.
Lucy has spent her career asking what design is actually doing to the person on the other side of the screen. How does it shape perception, build trust, and influence what someone does next. That question is what pulled her away from purely commercial work and towards organisations where the answer matters most.
Lucy’s eye was developed across demanding commercial projects for Clarks, Mothercare, Heal’s and Neal’s Yard Remedies, where the bar for visual credibility is unforgiving. Those skills are now put entirely in service of organisations working on some of the world’s most pressing challenges. The belief is simple: the quality and rigour of an organisation’s design should be equal to the importance of its work.
Working with Lucy is an exercise in focus and restraint. Every layout choice, typographic detail, and interaction has to earn its place. She designs around the real-world constraints of small teams and tight budgets, building sites that look sharp, load cleanly, and remain simple for in-house teams to manage long after launch.
What you’ll get with Lucy…
